The countertop appliance features a nonstick die-cast grill plate with a semi-embedded heating element that distributes heat evenly. Turn the thermostat knob to high, medium, or low heat, then cook up anything from steak, chicken, or hamburgers to fish or grilled-cheese sandwiches on the large 12-1/2-by-9-inch grilling surface. It also provides a professional broiler drawer that allows for two-tier cooking--sear food on the top grill plate, then complete the cooking process in the broiler below. Use both the grill plate and the broiler drawer at the same time for double the grilling capacity. Other highlights include a simple on/off switch, an "on" indicator light, a removable broiler drip tray, cord storage, and a micro-safety switch that automatically turns the unit off if the broil plate needs to be re-positioned. A drain cup for oil and grease and a user manual with recipes come included. The indoor grill measures approximately 20-1/2 by 15-3/5 by 7 inches.
